The German-Indian Round Table in Central Germany meets at different locations in the German states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.

The GIRT Central Germany (formerly GIRT Leipzig), is headed by Rudolf von Sandersleben and Att. Markus Hoffmann of the chancellery Dorschner & Hoffmann in Leipzig.

The GIRT-meetings take place in irregular intervals as expers' meetings on different topics. Focus areas include the automotive industry, mechanical industry and renewable energies.
