Founded in 2001 by Rudolf Weiler, the German Indian Round Table (GIRT) brings
together professionals with a strong business and personal connection to India. The
network is dedicated to strengthening Indo-German economic relations while deepening
understanding of India as a business and cultural partner.
Beyond business exchange, GIRT actively supports cultural and social engagement
through its regular Stammtisch meetings held across multiple cities, with additional
chapters now emerging in India. Today, GIRT connects around 3,000 members from the
Indo-German business community, guided by leaders and speakers who serve in an
honorary capacity.
